| Aims of the Academy To help influence the development of personalities of youth players in a positive way to facilitate life long participation in a healthy lifestyle. Provide services and quality specialised training fro the individuals involved. Enhance the education of the individuals involved with respect to playing, officiating and coaching. Enhance the skill development of Academy Members through intensive training sessions. To promote Australian Rules Football throughout the community to encourage greater participation and commitment by individuals involved in their school and community.

| Selection Process A panel will interview the nominated Students, Parents and Schools. The project manager will conduct a series of fitness, skill and aptitude assessments. An aptitude test will be compulsory. The panel will select 25 students with 10 emergency students. The Panels' decision will be final.
| Code of Conduct 90% attendance is required at the Academy and home school. Appropriate behaviour at school and the Academy. Consistently demonstrate the ability to be part of a team. Maintain academic progress. Maintain all social and civic responsibilities. Regularly wear uniform both at school and at the Academy. Demonstrate respect for self and others. Academy members shall receive one formal warning for breach of the code of contact. Should another breach occur they will be withdrawn from the Academy and their position will be offered to a student on the waiting list.
